Canada geese rested in a puddle of water in a parking lot at the Dayton Mall in Dayton, Oh., on Tuesday, March 17, 2009. I traveled to Dayton on Tuesday to cover Morehead State University in their opening-round game of the NCAA Tournament, but I arrived a few hours too early. I spotted the mall and thought I could kill a little time there at a book store or cafe. As I circled the mall looking to see what stores were there, I spotted these two geese apparently feeling quite at home in the puddle. Photo by David Stephenson | Staff

He and other friends were cleaning up what was left of their single-wide mobile home after it lost its wheels, became stranded on a highway, and was ultimately pushed off the road and overturned on orders of the sheriff. The Nicholas County Sheriff’s department said they worked for nearly 10 hours to get the trailer back on it’s wheels before making the decision to push it off the road, overturning it and leaving the family to clean it up. dnads “Trailer trashed”
