March 9, 2012 - London, Kentucky, USA - Rowdy Shaw, a senior field responder with The Humane Society of the United States, helps employees of the London Veterinary Clinic move an injured dog into a vehicle in the aftermath of tornados that tore through East Bernstadt and areas around London, Ky. This dog and another, which were partially paralyzed and in need of surgery, were being transported from London to Louisville for more care. The emergency animal shelter is operated out of an airplane hangar at the London-Corbin Airport. At left is vet technician Tina Gregory and at right is vet technician Angie Armstrong.
