Hospice for Dani

Hospice of the Bluegrass music therapist Dale Lewis sings to Dani Pruitt, a severely disabled 5-year-old who is part of a special Hospice program that helps hronically ill, not terminally ill, children, at her home in Lexington, Ky., on Wednesday, May 13, 2009. With the help Lewis and her mother Beth, Dani was rocking back and forth to the song as Lewis sang. Aside from the comfort and aide to the parents, Daniel's Care helps make sure the kids get all the services they need. It is unique to Kentucky and was started in honor of Rick Pitino's son, Daniel.
