Santa Train

Santa, also known as Don Royston, pitched toys and candy to hundreds of people gathered at Clinchco, Va., on Saturday, November 22, 2008, as the 66th annual Santa Train made it's ay through 14 towns along a 110-mile route through Appalachia. Singer Kathy Mattea joined Santa Claus to handout 15 tons of toys and gifts to families along the way. The Santa Train, which makes three stops in Kentucky, is co-sponsored by CSX Transportation, the Kingsport Area Chamber of Commerce and Food City. Photo by David Stephenson | Staff 7027
