Empty Bowls at Transy

Shoppers poured over the selection of hand-made bowls in the Morlan Gallery at Transylvania University as part of the Empty Bowls project in Lexington, Ky., on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, which helps raise money for a local charity committed to feeding the hungry. Artists create and donate soup bowls for purchase with all sales proceeds going to Community Action Council's food bank.
