Cold snap threatens flowers

These coral bells would soon be covered over by Joseph Ellis, background, ahead of tonight's freeze at the Sunshine Grow Shop on Richmond Road in Lexington, Ky., on Monday, April 6, 2009. James Ellis, Joseph's uncle, said he's seen worse freezes than this one is expected to be. "I've seen snow on Mother's Day," he said. Ellis also said that the plants they have out now would likely survive the freeze, they choose to cover them so they will look good.
