A spray-painted sign paid it's respects to the Garrard County Stockyard which is currently being demolished after closing this summer in Lancaster, Ky., on Thursday, December 6, 2007. After being bought by Bluegrass Stockyards, the Garrard County Stockyard, which has been in business since the 1930's, closed in July. Demolition has begun in the rear of the building. Local farmers now sell their stock in Stanford. Photo by David Stephenson | Staff 4611
